Original conditions

The backyard had been left to itself for years. The fence panels were broken and leaning, an overgrown shrub had taken over one corner, the lawn was patchy and full of weeds, and the old paving had cracked into pieces.

02

Design & materials

We cleared the overgrowth and the broken paving, then put up a new wood board fence. We laid fresh sod, built a raised flower bed along the fence and set a curving path of stepping stones across the lawn, finishing with a young tree.

03

The finished landscape

The yard now has room to breathe: a striped lawn, a bed full of flowers, a path that leads you through it and a fence that will last. It’s a space the family can use every day.
